I went to Amsterdam in March this year and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of bicycles that were scattered all over the city. I'd heard there were alot of canals but no one mentioned the bikes. The three-storey bikepark by the Amsterdam Centraal Station was particularly impressive and I couldnt help make a comparison between the attitude to cycling in Holland compared to that of Londoners.
